My
projects
I define myself as an anthropo-illustrator, and my next project takes me to meet unique cultures around the world to co-create a participatory and inspiring oracle. This oracle pays homage to the diversity of cultures while embodying the universal archetypes of feminine energies, for a visually captivating and spiritually powerful result. Each card explores a facet of spiritual transformation, rooted in the deep traditions of each culture represented.
Through this project, I wish to celebrate the symbols and ancestral wisdom that shape the identity of peoples and convey a message of connection between our roots and our personal evolution. This artistic and collective journey invites everyone to discover, explore and share the poetry of the world's cultures, revealing the richness of universal feminine archetypes, bearers of healing, strength, wisdom and transformation.
Guadeloupe, the Island of Creole Colors (February 2025)
The first stage of my project will take place in Guadeloupe, the island of my origins, to initiate an illustrated oracle that celebrates feminine archetypes from mythologies and spiritual traditions around the world. Through this oracle, I wish to pay tribute to the powerful and symbolic figures that embody the universal qualities of wisdom, healing and transformation.
Starting with a card linked to Guadeloupe is, for me, a symbolic way to anchor this project in the land of my roots and to meet my mixed origins. One of the first cards, "Maman Dlo", will be inspired by Creole mythology, representing the woman-spirit of the waters, protector and guide, symbol of connection to the mysteries of nature and the depth of emotions. This figure will remind everyone of the strength of introspection and the power of healing.
In parallel with this oracle work, I will capture in a travel journal and through sketches the history and cultural richness of Guadeloupe, exploring in particular the historical weight of slavery and the vibrant energy of the carnival. This notebook will complement the oracle project by illustrating the diversity and depth of Guadeloupean culture.
This artistic project is thus a personal quest to reconnect with my roots and a visual tribute to the traditions that make each people unique. Through each archetype of the oracle, I wish to share the poetry and spirituality of the world's cultures, to offer everyone a path towards a spiritual transformation rooted in universal cultural heritage.
Dominica, Land of the Kalinago (late February 2025)
After Guadeloupe, my artistic journey will take me to the wild and unspoiled island of Dominica, a true natural treasure of the Caribbean. Through my sketches and illustrations, I want to capture the essence of this island where nature reigns supreme, with its lush forests, impressive waterfalls and unique wildlife. This travel journal will be a visual exploration of the traditions of the Kalinago, an indigenous people whose culture and ancestral knowledge continue to nourish the identity of the island.
Dominica is also a vibrant musical melting pot, with its cadence-lypso and bouyon rhythms resonating as a celebration of life and resilience. My travelogue will pay tribute to these sounds, colours and stories of the locals, while revealing the diversity of landscapes and the richness of agricultural traditions that animate the villages.
At the same time, this stay will fuel the creation of new cards for my oracle, inspired by the spiritual soul and powerful nature of Dominica. Among them, an archetype could be that of The Guardian of the Forest, inspired by the tropical forests of the island and Kalinago spiritual practices, symbolizing the protection of nature and the connection to ancestral roots. Through this oracle, I wish to invite everyone to discover Dominica beyond the clichés, through a poetic and authentic look, to celebrate the strength of traditions and the wild beauty that make this island a unique jewel.
Peru, Whispers of the Andes (March-April-May 2025)
For the third phase of my project, I will travel to Peru, a land of a thousand faces where history and spirituality intertwine with the breathtaking landscapes of the Andes. This journey will be an opportunity to enrich my oracle with archetypes inspired by Peruvian traditions, ancestral myths, and sacred rituals that live on at the heart of local communities. Over the course of two months, I will immerse myself in the symbols and spiritual energies woven into Peruvian culture, from the vibrant markets of Cusco to villages nestled in the sacred mountains.
One of the oracle’s cards, The Andean Shaman, will embody this spirituality rooted in earth and cosmos, paying homage to Pachamama, the Earth Mother revered in every gesture and offering. This symbol will represent healing and harmony with nature, conveying a message of deep connection and respect for universal forces.
My travel journal will complement this exploration, capturing moments of daily life, faces marked by time, and the Andean landscapes that inspire humility and wonder. This project invites us to delve into the diversity of Peru, its myths, legends, and the raw beauty of its mountains, jungles, and deserts. Through my art, I aim to share the depth and poetry of these ancient traditions and pay tribute to the unique spiritual and cultural richness of this fascinating country.
